Naval Destroyer

Destroyer warships were used in World War One but were developed in the interwar years to produce improved models that were used in World War Two. These newer models were equipped with anti-aircraft and anti-submarine capabilities. Destroyers were use in battles against enemy warships and in anti-submarine campaigns. These ships were heavily armed and had a shallow draught, which made it difficult to launch an effective attack using torpedoes. Destroyers were also very fast considering their massive size.
